All I know is that it's lower than ITV, etc. The BBC's main game show, The Weakest Link, offers a top prize of 10,000. ITV's top quiz show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, offers 1,000,000. Also, on season two of Little Britain (BBC show), they couldn't afford the set of the Scottish castle for that Ray McCooney guy, but they did spend 10,000 on a full body suit for Matt Lucas for that health spa woman character. And they spent 10,000,000 on the new Doctor Who. That's all I know.

Okay, thanks. I was just wandering because of how excellent the special effects are on Doctor Who and they must have had a large budget to do that meaning that the BBC has alot of money to give them
But the BBC also makes money the more popular shows are dont they? Like a company see it's popular and then sponsors it giving the BBC lots of money etc etc

The BBC is partially government-funded by a "television tax".

/\ yeah, the money from your TV licence helps pay them. They must have spent a lot of money making Cassanova, but it was worth it, that show is so great! And without the good costumes, sets and actors it owuld have been unbearable
