Note From the Author

Why do we ask people for advice? Some of us believe that others may be the only one that can actually help this person than to keep their emotions and problems bottled up inside. Why in every direction we turn we find people fighting over something so small that wouldnt make a difference out in the world? People have different ideas and different beliefs and arguments will happen, but we all must always be one. Someone may intimidate you, but that doesnt mean you should hate him/her because you think that their better than you in anyway. Look at people in politics. People argue and are always analytical of others. If they push past themselves for just one minute and realize what damage their doing to the people that live on this earth, itll be much easier for citizens that are crying out for help across the world. What about the tsunamis that killed millions of people? I think we should try to do more for those people in that natural disaster. But Im not writing analyze people about their ideas and prophecys on life, but to make a story about it. This story takes place on a planet known as Teresia of 2405. Full of new species, the people of Teresia have the brightest and most capable people that have ever occupied that planet, but if the technology they invented werent used against each other than it wouldnt be a perfect world in their eyes.

The Greater Good.
By: Andrew J. Bullock

It was late in the summer, dark outside with the double moons both shining brightly. The government space program, Scientific Space and Observatory of Teresia (SSOT), have given names for both of the two moons. The one shining the brightest on the far left was Praxis. The other to the right was known as Vicki. Thanks to SSOT, now the citizens of Teresia are able to travel to both. Some believe that Teresia is nothing compared to what theyve heard is on the moons. People that pay more go to Praxis, others who dont pay that much go to the smaller one, Vicki. They say both moons are full of games and hotels and millions of shops for the travelers enjoyment. There was a mishap on Praxis before though. People that traveled to praxis never came back when they were supposed to. Terrorists, the Tholians, took over the moon and held the guests hostage for a few days. They did return the survivors, but assured the people they would be coming back in greater numbers. The people of Teresia have dreaded for that day to come. Its only a matter of time before they return.

A man, in his early 40s with a small mustache and short hair, wearing some sort of uniform with blue on his shoulders and the rest black with patches above his chest on the upper left carrying a small case continues to walk down a quiet, peaceful street fallowing the burning lights and walk way, watching the flying ships go trough the sky. Hover cars filled the street quiet street making soft humming noises as they passed by. Blocking the mans path was a teenaged boy with short black hair, tall, and wearing casual clothes, for their time. He had pulled something out of his pocket that the older man had been familiar with himself because he was carrying one in his case. The man stopped and shifted his weight looking surprised as to the boys actions. The boy typed for a short second and flashed it in the older mans face. A grin flew across the mans face. Professor Gavin, forgive me sir, but a C plus? I did this report with the best of my abilities. The professor stood there for a split second and pushed past the boy. You forget your place Mr. Rader, for I am the teacher and you are the student. The boy made haste to catch up with him. Im sorry sir, but this is not fair. I tried on this topic for weeks and this is the grade I get? He said out of anger. You failed to explain how much density the asteroid actually is when going trough when the topic of this assignment is labeled density. They both turned a corner that lead to another peaceful street with houses spread apart from each other. The boy hesitated. ButBut I The professor stopped quickly in front of a large white house with a few lights on and put his hand up to stop the boy from saying anymore. Dont fight me on this Mike. Youre class mates would be lucky to even get a C plus. Try harder next time, dig deeper into the facts and if I see it, youll get a better grade. You may do the assignment over if you wish. Gavin said, walking up the small walkway, up to a panel that eliminated a small, soft glow of blue lighting; it had laid beside the front door. He pushed a few buttons and then heard the fallowing message from a computerized voice of a woman, Professor James R. Gavin. Access granted, and he heard a small click of the door, opened it and walked in. He looked out the window beside the door and saw Rader walking away at a slow pace. He let the curtains fall back into place and put his small case on the table next to the door. The smell of cinnamon caught his attention and he stood for a minute. He walked trough the house and up the steps at a normal pace with the carpet softening his movements. He found himself in the hallway and walked past a few doors on his right and made a left turn which lead him to another. He opened the first door on his right and walked in. The cinnamon smell was getting stronger. The room was a dark blue color and contained a big bear rug, a large bed, lights and small plants around the wall, a medium size ceiling fan turning slowly, a few windows with white curtains, a big dresser for two people, and some technological advances. When he walked in he saw a soft glow of burning candles, the room so clean and the bed made and a small table in front of a window that sat in the left corner of the room with a bottle of Tarathin ale and two glasses half-filled. You missed his science fair again. A womans voice from behind him, softly spoken, was heard. He stood for a few seconds and turned around. A woman with a white robe on, a pin in her hair to hold it up, appeared.
