The short clip at the beginning with Josh Hartnett was actually made before everything else. Apparently it was how the director persuaded Frank Miller to allow the film to go ahead.

I saw the movie last night it was action packed and very violent to say the least. It is a movie not for kids.

I knew right away that I could sum this movie up in one word... sexy. And not just the girls, no. The cinematography, the cool way that you actually did feel like you were reading a comic book like they intended, the acting, the story, the originality. Very awesome movie. Very violent, but hardly gorey and barely bloody, unless you count white and yellow blood as bloody. I don't... I count it as symbolic. This movie was so cool, I'm surprised that so many people didn't like it. Just beause it's out of their comfort zone.

Sin City is the best movie out since Lord of the Rings.

Okay, I just saw this. And it was pretty gross, IMO. I thought the cinemetography was interesting, but it just stopped there for me.

The sheer asskickingness of this movie *is* a bit overwhelming at times.
