Welcome to the forum!! I went to Europe last summer, and whilst there visited Heidelberg, Cologne, and Munich. I also have a friend that I met online a year ago, and she's from Germany. She came here and visited me in June - she had never been to the usa before. Anyways, it was a blast and she taught me a new German phrase every day she was here. I'm trying to remember the name of the city she lives in - Weitzen, Germany (not sure if you know where that is, but it's a small town in northern Germany). Anyways, I hope you enjoy the forum, and I hope to talk to you again soon!!

When we were in Cologne we visited the Dom cathedral and climbed all the steps up to the top. Have you done that before. OMG hahah SOOO tiring, but a blast!! I absolutly loved Germany! I have plans to eventually go visit my friend over there, but it may not be for a while though b/c i don't have the $ right now.

My friend from Germany lives about 45 minutes or so north west from Hannover (i hope i spelt that right). Anyways, i also have ancestors that are from Aachen, Germany. Never been there, but I'd like to some time.

when i go visit my friend over there she wants to take me there to Hannover. She has told me a lot about it, so i'm really excited to see it.

You TOTALLY have to climb up to the top of the cathedral next time you're there. It's only like one euro if you're a student, and it's a beautiful view up at the top - totally worth it. The only annoying thing is it gets really dizzying climbing all those twisty stone stairs!

Guten Tag, Corinna! Willkommen auf STV. Ich bin Captain Dappet, der Forum Kommunist.

Der Forum Kommunist magst(?) nicht dein avatar.

I hope I got all that right. And the reason I dont like your avatar, is because, I dont like Janeway. Can't say I dont like Mulgrew, cause I havent actually seen her anywhere else.

Anyhow, welcome to STV.com, make yourself at home.

AHA! I've seen her pic somewhere else! She sounds... so... ehm... german... Naa just kidding... she sounds so... not Janeway. I guessed I'm to used to mulgrew's voice, that it's impossible to compare the two! Janeway is mulgrew... period.
Hehe, I wonder how it would have sounded like of she was dubed to swedish
