I was wondering if any of you that live outside the United States could tell me where you get your news from? And if you had a link to any websites that you get news from, that would be interesting too. I want to see what people outside the US are getting (besides FoxNews, and CNN). Thanks for any help.

Do you mind? As far as I'm aware, trolling is not what was asked of by the original poster.

I don't care how biased/un-biased it is. I just want to see where other people are getting there news, to kinda see if it might effect the way they see things. Plus I think it would just be good to get some new sources . Thanks Kyre.

My dad set our homepage to CANOE, which is a division of Netgraphe, Inc. So every time I open up my browser, I'm bombarded with the latest headlines, and I tend to read a few articles once and a while.
I watch and click CBC occasionally, but not that often. Then there's always those invariably inaccurate comedy shows on Friday night.
I also Google a lot of stuff.

Yes, I know. And that's my point. You are looking to see how it affects their views, and that was my point.

Oh, I know it's biased, you don't have to bother pointing that out. CBC is on the government payroll after all (not that anyone really watches it though, so you don't have to worry). And CANOE is owned by a Quebec company However I find that a lot of the news articles on CANOE are short enough to contain little opinionated bias. I don't know if they slant the facts because I've been brainwashed by them.
And Google can't be biased since it's just a portal . . . unless they deliberately program their search engine to block out left-wing or right-wing content (depending on the bias) but I doubt they do. Way too much trouble.
I love Google.
However, those sources don't really affect my views, they're just where I get news from. I form a lot of my opinions from the following sources, none of which are accredited news organizations in any way, and most likely have enough bias amongst them to get a discount on Air Canada
-Douglas Adams
-Scott Adams
-Frank Herbert
-Ursula K. LeGuin
-Teachers
-Parents
-Royal Canadian Air Farce
-This Hour Has 22 Minutes
-Space: The Imagination Station

I'm sure you could find bias in every news source, if you went looking for it.

Sure, except for C-SPAN, but it tends to be that the majority of news sources are Liberal biased.
You know, this I like about President Bush: he knows that the media hates him, etc. I watched a special pre-Ignaugural presentation about President Bush on FOX News tonight...they showed his feelings toward the media, and in that they showed President Bush walking in front of the media holding up former CBS News employee Bernard Goldberg's book "Bias" in a CLEAR way for the media to see. (The book alledges left-wing media bias) but was great!

No, answer me this. What good did your first post do? What did it achieve, when viewed against the aims of the thread.
