PostTue Jan 04, 2005 10:54 pm    Living Arrangements! (IM AS FREE AS A BIRD NOW)

Either the welshy or the welshys keeper will more than likely lock this, but its all good.

Anyways, just informing you all, MY ROOMMATE MOVED OUT! IM FREE! SINGLE ROOM TO MYSELF, AND ONLY HAVE TO PAY HALF! SCORE!!!

And to justify the making of a new topic, other people can talk about if they live with their parents, a roommate, etc.

*high five* Oh yeah...And I dont get to touch his space though, the room has to be ready at all times for someone else to move in, quite annoying. But there is a very slim chance anyone will, so im good to go. Go to sleep whenever I want, wake up whenever, dont have to consider *beep* about anyone else. Ah, freedom.

Whats your situation Omet?

Its a whole new freedom, truly a thing of beauty to be on your own. But being on your own isnt without responsibility...

When I studied, I lived in my dorm. I had a separte room, kitchen and bathroom. All mine. At first it was hard, cleaning, washig, making food and stuff, but the last 2 years were heaven!

Now I live alone again in my appartment. I've gotten the hang on taking care of the washing and cleaning and stuff but I'd like to share my stuff with someone one day.

I had to decide whether or not to pay $700 extra for a single room. I flipped a coin. Im doing it. I now have twice the storage space, 2 desks, and im getting a couch tomorrow. I couldnt be happier. Im going to walmart and getting a microwave and cordless phone soon too, since my old roommate had those and took them with him. Also, I have room for my trek posters now! Happiness flows like a river!

You know, you could have the topic title changed... To something like What are your living arrangements. (to avoid getting it locked)

I agree, a title change would be in order,

Well, im pretty much the opposite. I have to do everything on my own. Also, I have to buy a microwave and cordless phone (if I want one...), since my roommate took his with him. But I still have my mini fridge and getting a couch. Also, I want a big ass TV, but I have to wait for a paycheck to come in on that...

Its not hell, its GREAT. Just takes some getting used to. And you want to really think about moving in with a friend. Such things have been known to break up good friends.
