In Visual Basic.Net on Visual Studio.Net, does anyone know how to:
1. Make another program start from a program.
2. Make a form close to go to another form.
IE my program:
First, I input ID and password. Once it's correct, it goes to another form which you can choose something. Once you choose this one choice, a keypad in another form appears, and you have to answer the correct passcode to disable the alarm. Once you enter the correct passcode, another program should start.
So far all I can do is make forms within forms, but that's not what I want.

I dunno, but I tried to help. I went to MSDN's site, and typed your inquiry in their contact thing, and got this response. Maybe it can help.
Quote: | Thank you for contacting MSDN Customer Support regarding your Visual Basic questions.
MSDN Contact Us is meant to answer general MSDN program or Web site questions. I would be doing you a disservice if I were to try to diagnose the cause of your problem, triage possible solutions, or offer you the focused level of technical support that your problem needs. What you need is an expert Microsoft Support Professional to work with you directly. They may need more code and configuration information (other that what you have specified below) to provide you with a resolution. Here are places where you can find technical resources and other support options. I hope this will help you locate the information and/or the correct resource you need.
If you are currently an MSDN Subscriber, your subscription entitles you to certain Support options privileges listed at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/support/technical/default.aspx. I encourage you to review the information on this site and take advantage of the support that is available to you at your subscription level. Other MSDN Subscriber resource listings are available at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/support/ and http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/faq/default.aspx#support .
If you are not an MSDN Subscriber, here are some starting points for technical support and other related resources:
- For Microsoft Product Support options, please visit http://support.microsoft.com/directory/
- Online support for developers: http://msdn.microsoft.com/support/
You can also use the improved MSDN Search function, http://search.microsoft.com/search/search.aspx?st=b&view=msdn to help you find what you're looking for or broaden your search by searching all the Microsoft sites at: http://search.microsoft.com/default.asp?siteid=us.
Take advantage of the free peer-to-peer support available from the Microsoft public newsgroups.
For more information on how to view and post to these newsgroups, please go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/ and click the "Help" link located at the upper right side of the site.
Sincerely,
Lowell
