A Picture Worth 1000 Words

This is a picture of a marine that appeared I beleive, in the front page of our newspaper here in Dallas, a few days ago of a marine in Fallujah. I thought it was an awesome picture and just wanted to share it with yall. Coincidentally, today I found out that a woman wrote to the editor and got her letter put in the Living section. All she could say was how sad it was to find an advertisement for cigarettes on the front page. Unfortunatly, I don't think the woman realizes that if he dies, it won't be the cigarette that killed him.

That pic was on the front page of our Gazette also, a few days ago... I think the soldier is from Ft. Carson or something.. here in ColoSpgs. I was going to post it but couldn't find it, so I'm glad someone else did

Yeah, I thought the pic was awesome too. I think my dad put it best by saying "now there is a man."

And... I say shame on that lady for only caring about cigarettes. Heck, I think if she were out there getting shot at everyday with no showers, no good sleep, no luxeries, she would probably smoke too. That just stupid and ridiculous and... I don't know. assinine that she should only care about the cigarettes in the pic.
