Here's a film I'm interested in:

http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0317676/

The film is House of the Dead. I saw the trailer a few days ago. I never judge a film by it's trailer but it did look good. I am a big fan of zombie movies from the original Night of the Living Dead to 1985's Day of the Dead. What I like about the look of House of the Dead is the fact that the zombies speak, move fast and seem pretty intelligent.

I understand this is based on a videogame. I've never heard of the videogame or played it. Has anyone here?

Anyone else planning to see the movie?

Yes, the trailer made an impression on me. I like the way zombie movies have remained fresh over the years. In the 60's and 70's, zombies were brainless, lumbering creatures.

In the 1980's, we saw Return of the Living Dead and Return of the Living Dead 2 which parodied the genre and made zombies into fast-moving creatures capable of basic speech.

Movies such as 28 Days Later and Resident Evil also gave us a fresh interpretation of zombies.

If you see the film before me, please let me know what you think.

I've played a demo of House of the Dead, I have House of the Dead 2 and 3. The games are pretty sweet, my sister said the games were better than the movie. I haven't seen the movie though, so I can't really judge. Still the games are awesome, plenty of blood and death in em.

You don't want to see this film.

It is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life, and trust me, I've watched some terrible films in my day.
