Jedi Master Yoda Declares Intentions to Run for President in '08
Sunday, November 13, 2004

Coming out of the frey of the 2004 election, Jedi Master Yoda, co-leader of the Jedi Order, has already announced his intentions to run for President in 2008, saying, "A great leader, President Bush is. But in 2008, a strong leader we will need, and a strong leader I am."
The Jedi Master has already announced some hopefuls in his administration:
Vice-President- Bill O'Reilly
Secretary of State- Rudy Guiliani
Secretary of Defense- Obi-Wan Kenobi
Secretary of Homeland Security- Bastilla
Nat'l Security Advisor- Ki-Adi-Mundi
Ambassador to France- Jean-Luc Picard
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: Benjamin Sisko
Centcom Commander- Mace Windu
Attorney General- Admiral Ross
"Great men, these are," Yoda said Saturday afternoon at a press conference, "And appropriate for these jobs they are."
Rudy Guiliani, after being confronted with this question Sunday morning, promptly responded, "I'm not looking ahead to 2008," although there is some speculation that he may run for the Presidential bid.
FOX News' Bill O'Reilly said that he would consider the job of Vice-President, but that it is not a done deal.
So, looking ahead, the question is asked, "Will Yoda go through with it? And if so, does he have any chance of winning with this fledgling party?" Well, only time will tell.

FOX News' Major Garret and Carl Cameron contributed to this report.

Interesting stuff. I'm all for it. I now support a Yoda-O'Reilly ticket!

I'm not switching parties, but I'm definitely voting Jedi in '08! Although I have heard rumors about Obi-Wan Kenobi running for governor of Colorado, but they're just rumors.

O'Reilly's got an interview with him tomorrow night, heh-heh, that should be fun, but I believe that Yoda is for Traditional Marriage and is against abortion except in extreme circumstances. The Jedi Party is a very Conservative party.
I hear they're going to put up a site soon...Unfortunately, they are against Tort Reform and that's a negative, and like me they are anti-Death penalty, except for terrorists that kill civilians and the Sith.

Oh, and btw, I've heard that Kit Fisto wants to run for Senator in New York in '06, and that Plo Koon wants to run for Senator in Florida.

--EDIT--
And I can't wait for O'Reilly's Talking Points Memo on this tomorrow!

What about the rumors that Palpatine is running for head of the UN?

I've heard about that, but I don't know...Many people are saying that he appears to be corrupt. I don't know, though. He may be.
I don't like his stances on Abortion, Gay Marriage, Taxes, and the Death Penalty. He's all for them. But it would be interesting to see him against Clinton for Secretary General...

Anakin is a very young Jedi in training, but rumors have it that he's supposed to bring balance to the Force...

Based off of his views, it sounds like he supports Communism and is all for a dictatorship....

Now let's not jump to conclusions there...I don't think he's a member of the Communist Sith's Party, but I may be wrong...rumors have it Palpatine may switch over to that party and leave the Reformation Party...

Well Obi-Wan Kenobi refuses to answer any questions about Anakin. We all saw Anakin debating with Obi-Wan Kenobi last week on Fox. O'Reilly basically had to seperate those two. Anakin's views were frightnening.

What happened to Count Dooku? He was British no?

Yes, yes. It was an interesting debate...I liked it. I think Anakin IS leaning a bit communist...
And Dooku...Well, there's rumors that he's sturring up a separatist movement, but that's not yet determined...But yes, he was British and then crossed over to the other Galaxy and became a Jedi at a young age, then left...

I know, I know...But looks can be deceiving...
And on the Geonoshians deal...Yeah, that could be a possibility. I've heard that they're helping to design a new weapon to help out Iran, but those are just rumors...I think that they're probably just helping out Iran.

Fox News has just shown a clip of Naboo. The Queen has publicly stated she is against the War on Iraq. I wonder how Senator Amidala feels.

I believe that Senator Amidala--an anti-war advocate--is against the war.

Oh come on! It's fun...
Oh, I just watched a FOX News report which talked about Jabba the Hutt's fledgling criminal organization and the recently begun Black Sun organization are now backing the terrorists...

Right on schedule. Defiant has to make a comment and Five-seveN as usual adds nothing to the topic.

The UN is meeting to discuss matters with the Jedi Order. I wonder what about. Perhaps enlist the aid of the Jedi with Iraq?

The UN get assistance in Iraq! Bah! I think they're working on the situation in Sudan, to deal with it. I would hope so.

O'Reilly is about to come on. He said he's going to talk about his future with politics.

Yes...That's in his memo. I watched it live, actually. It was good. I'm going to try to find the transcript, if it's even out already...
