HOUSTON -- The planned purchase of a gun in southwest Houston turned deadly Monday morning, Local 2 reported.
Police found a man shot to death at the Oakwood Villa Apartments on West Bellfort at Bob White at about 1:30 a.m.
Investigators said two men were apparently trying to buy a gun from the suspected shooter at a gas station about a block away from the complex.
Investigators said the three men ended up at the apartment complex for an unknown reason.
"The witness walked away from the vehicle to his apartment and as he got to his apartment he heard a single gun shot and he observed a gold pickup truck driving away and he came back and found his friend dead inside the car," Houston Police Department officer Toby Hernandez said.
Officials said the man who was going to sell the gun drove away in the gold pickup truck.
So far, no arrests have been made |
