I wouldn't call the Matrix movies "comic book". They may be in a similar style, but they aren't based on comics.

Let's hope they can get the Superman franchise up and running one day (not that I want them to rush it or anything).
Another superhero movie set to come out later this year is The Man-Thing. But, to be honest, he was never a supehero (more of a misunderstood and empathatic creature who was once a human, published by Marvel Comics). And it has been rumoured that the movie will come direct to video or even TV.
