Okay, some of you will be aware of the security breaches over the last couple of years at certain royal residences such as Buckingham Palace. So, this begs the question, should the police continue in their protection duties or should it be handed over to the Army?
What are your thoughts, if any?
Personally, I think the police have been doing the job well for a long time now. Yes, three security breaches in the space of two years is bad but what about all those years without incident?
The British Army, if requested to takeover protection/guard duties, would undoubtably do a fine job. But I really think that the British Army, who are well trained, are far better used than in royal protection duties.
Just my two cents.

Army should guard.
So they can get people like the "super dads" away from the important places.
