What does everyone think about the holo-communicators introduced and then scrapped in Deep Space Nine? They were used in only two episode: For The Uniform and Doctor Bashir, I Presume. Apparently it became unpopular with Starfleet and of course the writres/producers in the show because you never see it again. Should they have kept it or no?

I thought if they introduced us to such a technology, they should have brought it back more. We saw it once that I recall, but apparently twice, we should be able to see it more. That just sucked.

Thanks for that. But they never get used until about Nemesis. Its most confusing.

The only reason I don't like them is because it kind of feels like we're ripiping off star wars and I think that star trek is so much better than that. We should come up with something new and better.
