PostMon Sep 06, 2004 5:08 am    Smokers

I recently met up with a friend of mine, and out of the blue found out that she smoked for several years!

So I was wondering...who from STV is a smoker? (cigarettes you fools)

I don't smoke for the most part, but every now and then I might smoke a cigar.

BAH! Smoking is just not my thing. It has too many reprocussions for doing it, and I don't feel that it is worth it.

Most of my friends (and myself) are non-smokers. As a matter of fact, I hope never to become one. It's nasty!

here's my smoking story

over the summer, I made all my friends who went overseas buy me packs of cigarettes so I could have a funny collection. One of my friends got me a cigar and we had planned on smoking it some poker night. So we were at a boring party so we decided to go get the cigar and go smoke it, but we couldn't find it, so we just got a pack of japanese cigarettes and went and smoked a couple of those...

So... about a week later I felt like doing it again, so I did, but I felt really sick. But I still crave them. So I go to bowling alleys... not just for the bowling, but for the second hand...

so I smoke just a bit... even though Japanese cigarettes have poisen in them, I think. regular ones are ok every now and then

One of the boys at work gave me a cigar. (Don't ask,) So I had to be outside tonight, and it was getting buggy. I'd read somewhere that cigar smoke will keep bugs away, so I figured I'd light the thing, and carry it around. Took me ten minutes to figure out how to light it. Had to use a toothpick to poke a hole in the end. That thing smelled so bad.
And like Clinton, , I didn't inhale. Actually ran in and brushed my teeth for about five minutes,

Never tried it I msut admit I might try it once someday, but I have the feeling I'll hack and regret it, because whenever someone smokes near me I fight the urge to cough. Blech

Yes, I'm the weird person that if someone says something hurts I try it to be sure

It's not that you want to look cool. It just gets addicting. You really don't believe all that stuff they teach you in school about them being so addicting until you actually find yourself sitting there one sday thinking "I really need a cigarette."

They do help calm you down

I have a problem with being addicted/dependent to anything...and I really mean anything. Therefore cigarettes are out of the question.

Nope. Never tried. Never intend to. They're disgusting and a HUGE waste of money. Plus, I think that people that smoke in public are very inconsiderate of who might be smoking second-hand because of them. I already have one addiction too many anyhoo. Caffeine.
