Alright, just tell us all what favorite kind of music is. Very simple. I've got to say classic rock simply because it's great guitar music. I love figuring out the songs by AC/DC, ZZ Top, etc on the guitar.

I can't choose between music and music! They're all great (ok well most of them, I don't like the industial-eardrum-bursting-music thou)
It all depends on which mood I'm in. Right now I'd go for some classic, but I'm listening to tecno and jazz (you need to concentrate when listening to classic music otherwise it sucks)
So my answer: everything

Okay, Alternative, Punk, and Punk/Pop are 3 completely different categories! Anyways, wich category would Coldplay, U2, etc etc fall under? I vote for that
Example of punk: The Ramones
Example of pop/punk: New Found Glory
Example of alternative: ... not sure. Jane's Addiction maybe? Someone else list one if you know.
I also vote for Chrstian rock... SWITCHFOOT!

I know they're technically three seperate categories but there's only so many poll slots. They're all somewhat close to eachother. Just turn on the Alternative music channel on comcast; they play punk. By the way, Switchfoot is one of the best bands of all time.

The best kind of music, is the kind that you personally most enjoy. No specific genre, and different for everyone.

^Very true Defiant!
I like many kinds of music. It depends what mood you're in and what you're doing.
Howevern on average I tend to listen to Modern Rock or Pop the most. The 80's are also on top of my list. When I go out, I like more up beat music and a little techno; good for dancing. Speaking of dancing, slows are very good too. The back side to this is that you need a good dancing partner...
I don't listen to much jazz but I do like the genre.

Indeed. I voted for alternative rock/punk rock. Thats been my groove lately. But I will listen (happily) to anything except country. (Even classical!)

I like Alternative a good deal (Barenaked Ladies, Alanis Morisette, sometimes they include John Mayer...) and punk rock is pretty good.
