Wow............................................... I went to the premiere of this movie on thursday night at Tinseltown in Rochester, New York (J-Mac was there). I grew up reading every comic book I could get my hands on and my favorite show was the X-MEN cartoon. So, to say the least I was very excited about this movie. After seeing it I was so disapointed. The story was completely different from any of the comics or the cartoon. Quote: | ***SPOILER ALERT*** I almost cried when Professor X was killed. In the comics the Phoenix was a seperate entity the inhabited Jean Grey's body. Not a second personality that was suppressed by Xavier. Hopefully something will happen in the fourth movie that will make up for the death of Cyclops, Jean, and Xavier. Anyways I just needed to vent about this movie. |
