I have been attempting to get into the national guard lately but I am not allowed to join since i have chrones diease. I have treid multiple times since we thought we found a couple ways that would allow me to koin still and it didnt work. I really wish i could join but i can't i am looking for other ways i can serve the country some way but i have no idea how does anyone have any ideas?

yea thats a possibilty but i wanna do more than just give money. I have been thinking alot lately and i realized what i have done with my life so far and how when ever i do try to make something out of myself i am denied its becomeing really frustrateing and i just am haveing a hard time with it

Well, I can understand. You should try to prove that its in check. I have heard that proving it is under control and will never be a problem, they will waive it. A doctors note helps.

thanks defiant i have tried that as well tho and it was not enough i am stil ltrying to find a way to join but its just looking like its going to be impossible

I know what you mean about wanting to help somehow and not being able to. I have MS, and even though in my case it's non-restricting, it's still there and really dwindles my chances of being able to join anything like the Air national Guard or air force. Have you thought about Peace Corps or Americorps? I think they're both equal opportunity

Also, the air force is alot easier to join.

paratrooping would be cool chrones diease disqualifies me for all military tho unless i can find some way and i am trying my best i have got to say botu the only way i can get in is if the draft is brought back even then it would be hard tho

Bah, my friend just joined the air force. He ran too much, fractured his hip, and is out. Medical discharge. He gets veteran benefits and is 40% disabled.
