Tue Jul 13, 2004 10:14 pm This is me... I am Ryano. |
|
Name: Ryan.
DOB: 11/22/1981
Location: Sydney Australia
Marrital Status: Married + 1 child
Employment: Manager of Video Store
Interests: Movies .... and TV no wonder I'm packing on the pounds!!!
I'm mostly into Sci-Fi and Anime. I worked in a comic book store for 6 years.
Interesting link: http://www.intervocative.com/dvdcollection.aspx/Ryano
That's my DVD collection.
I'm a fan of Star Trek . *Duh! Although there isn't a great deal of Star Trek related events or merchandise here in Australia , that I know of anyway. It's not shown on Australian TV at the moment and when it was it was on between 1-2 in the morning.
I would really like to hear from anyone that would like to chat about anything at all. I'm not overly knowledgable on all things Star Trek but it doesn't mean I don't dig it! Young , old , girl , boy , humanoid or otherwise hehe give me a holla and we'll talk some!
Star Trek fans are some of the most passionate and open minded people around , despite all the bad rumors!
Cheers mate , hope to hear from some of you soon.
Ryan
BTW , can anyone tell me about Stargate Atlantis? I dig SG1 (they actually show it Prime Time here!) It looks cool... but looks can be decieving!

WeLcOmE!
Some tips:
If you see a person named Scapegoat Bob, dont talk to them. Its dangerous.
Dont make fun of Canada. Or Metallica.
Dont drink the water. Jadzia Lenara Dax did, and look at her now. (SHES CRAZY)
Post at least 50 times a day, or we will kill you. Something humorous like that.

Hi, welcome to the site! I see defiant has given you some advise for your protection here, If you need anything then ask me if you want. I'm sure you'll enjoy the site as everyone else has! Stargate Atlantis is supposed to be good I think according to one of my friends, although I can't remember if he's seen it or if he was saying it looks good.

Welcome to STV! If you have any problems, ask me or any of the other mods/admin (names in green or orange on who is online list).
How old is your child? Is it a girl or a boy? What do they like doing?
I've got a daughter, Samantha Caitlyn (pic in avatar). She's 6 1/2 months old, and she loves Star Trek (pic in Sandrines, page 712 or thereabouts).
Seeya around!

Wow! I never expected so many people to reply! And I never thought everyone would be nice! *Note to self stop being cynical.
My son is 3 and cool as hell! He sort of likes Star Trek just because of the Ships , he loves anything with fast cars , racing cars etc.
I got married on the 14th of February this year, and it was great.
I had a Dodge Viper as my wedding car.... so cool!

Dont Lie to the Boy
Only Scapgoat Bobs Evil Personalities are bad... THe shark is even ok unless your bleeding.
Ummm The thing about Canada and Metallica are true so Beware.
The Water!? Its great it has kind of a metallic taste to it, like sucking on a rusty pipe, it dosent make everyone crazy.... well maybe it does ok So SUE Me For trying to make more people crazy like me
Posting 50 times a day is unreasonable, we prefer 60-80, but 50 will only result in a butt kicking. anything over 100 will do the same.

Hello there Ryan,
I see you have met some of our longtime STV users. Don't believe everything they say (just a warning ).
Anyway, take a look around the forum and have fun!

Believe what we say!!! Or else!
About half the people on the site are offically mad.
I heard about that man being killed by a shark here. I thought it was weird as normally they aren't reported here.

It's so true though! We're labelled way too harshly ..... usually . There's no other social group (yeah I'd call us a social group , like Jocks , Metalheads or Hippies!) that is so unified , open minded , passionate or accepting. The thing that really blows me away is the way that we can just turn off our "Disbelief" button at will!
CAN I GET A HALLELULJAH!!!
I don't mean to preach but it's the truth dagnabbit!

I did and it's huge! I would be more impressed except one of my friends has about 300 in their collection! Its waaaaaay too many, I'm proud of the 30 or so I have, Some of them have gone missing to people that are borrowing them so it might be a little less.
