I didn't here it was controversial or not. All I know is it's about how the band managed to stay together after like 2001 or something like that.

I kinda wanna watch it...It seems like fun. It also seems like another greedy Metallica plot to get money, but hey, whatever.
Dans gonna kill me for saying that.

DIE MARK!
Some of it is controversial because Dave Mustaine (guitarist for 1/2 a CD until they fired him and brought in Kirk Hammet) said some things and they put it in and he doesnt want it in there, but Metallica says the movie doesnt flow without it so they left it in.
I dunno if its coming to my town, but I know I REALLY wanna see it.

I know they show Hetfield's battle with booze in it, but is there anything important about Ulrich in it, or that new bassist of theirs?

I just looked it up! Its MTV Metallica Icon. Sum 41 did one too. These artists just sing metallica songs in tribute or something...

i've finally given up on metallica, they realized that the name sells, no matter if they are pricks or not, so they are cashin in on what they can get before the entire world hates them for being old and pathetic.
lars cant even play the drums as well as he use to, he dosent put anyway near the amount of energy or passion into his work as he use to, even when he's playing the older stuff. its really depressing because lars was the reason I ever wanted to learn how to play the drums in the first place, and now I wish he had stuck to playing tennis.
goddamn sellouts

I actually agree in some respects. Metalllica is getting pretty bad, with all the money grubbing greedy things they do.
