DS9 Forum Rules

Since Lindley has departed as a Moderator I'm going to post up the updated forum rules (they're pretty much the same).

These rules are only in addition ttp://www.startrekvoyager.com/viewtopic.php?t=5578 (Global Rules)

The Ds9 Room has fallen victim to spam and un-neccessary posts so I'll lay down the rules that Lindley did and some more.

1. No flaming of other users. You are allowed to disagree with them, and debate their opinions. However, you may not insult them, directly or indirectly. A post which I percieve to be flaming will result in a warning.
This includes any posts regarding the users Gender, Race, Religion or Cultural background in any derrogatory form.

2. Keep Downloading discussions on the low- it's Illegal!

3. No trolling. Essentially, this means that you can't post something with the intention of angering other users. That doesn't mean you can't post a controversial opinion, it just means that if you do so, you'd better be prepared to back it up. A post that says "DS9 sucks!" is trolling; a post that says "I didn't really like DS9 because of (a) and (b) and (c)..." is not. Trolling posts will result in a PM; multiple offenses will result in a warning.

4. If there's a preexisting topic about what you want to discuss, post in there. PLEASE FOLLOW THIS RULE!!

5. If I give you a warning, you are welcome to challenge it via PM. I can't guarantee it will be rescinded, but if you convince me it was not your intent to troll/flame, I might change my mind.

6. No Irrelevant Topics that are full of useless information.

Suggestions for additions to the rules are welcome (Via PM and I will only consider ppl who I know post in a sensible manner).
