In a scenario where only one perso wins an argument, and you mediate it, would you rather:

1. Mediate a fight between two best friends?

or

2. Mediate a fight between two worst enemies?

I voted for number two, because I feel it would be easier to keep my feelings out of it if they're not my friends.

I'd prefer to mediate an argument between 2 friends because then you know how they both think and feel on different subjects.

Two best friends. If they were friends before, it can be so again! If they've been friends for a while, they've probably fallen out over something stupid which can hopefully be resolved.

Friends, just to make sure it doesn't get so bad that they would never become enemies. Plus, what does it matter to me if my enemies are fighting amongst themselves?

Well two enemies b/c that way they can't hate me in the end b/c they already do....plus I can't take nither side b/c I like them since I don't to begin with right. So there for it is a fair thing in the end if you think about it really. If it was two best friends you wouldn't want either to hate you or either to think hey you said that b/c you like her/him better then you do me. SO yes I chose Number two for that reason.

I said two best friends, because if they were enemies, they would be so biased against each other that they wouldn't even try to see the other side of the argument and therefore find a good solution to fit both sides.

It would be easier to mediate two best friends.

I always find myself as a mediator between two best friends, who are often two of my best friends. and though it always sucks to be stuck in that position, I'd rather do that than mediate between two enemies- because to contort the old saying, the friend of my enemy is my enemy. I think it could turn out too ugly.

I would SOOO much rather do it between friends, because when it's between enemies - dangerous situation to get involved in! Especially when there's really only one winner. With friends, when they end up making up, everyone is happy in the end.

Ii think I'd prefer friends, but it would also depend on what they were arguing about. I've mediated before and generally its fine, but if there was something big that couldn't be fixed then I wouldn't like it one bit.
