PostSat Mar 19, 2005 7:03 pm    Alidar Jarok

I laughed so hard and long when I found out that Alidar Jarok was a real romulan star trek character... All this time I thought that Mark had well... been creative....

Quote:
Alidar Jarok

Episode: TNG 158 - The Defector

One-time Romulan hero who fell from grace after protesting Romulan warmongering.

Jarok failed a loyalty test by defecting to the Federation. He died by his own hand in 2366.

I knew it already... in fact, in most cases I automatically assume some names are Star Trek ones, or at least derived from Star Trek ones

I never knew it was a real romulan. I thought it was just a name.

Hell, each time that I see a romulan I think of Defiant... Each time I see a founder I think of you,

Did I miss something here with this topic?

As far as I know, Alidar Jarok only appeared in one Episode of Star Trek The Next Generation. Whats the big deal?

^ Alidar Jarok was the name adopted by a former member of STV. He's the "Mark" referred to in the first post.

Oh, Now it make sense. I was trying to think of a writer of Star Trek or a actor that played as Alidar Jarok but I wasn't getting anywhere.
