PostSun Jun 13, 2004 2:32 pm    What are things you always carry with you?

If I've broken down and am carrying a bag, (purse), it has to have my sunglasses, cell phone, (when operational), check book, keys, gum, (Trident White, ), hard candy, (I hate it when my mouth gets dry), and Motrin or Excedrine Migraine. And always, money. Oh, yes, a book. I can't stand to be idle for too long.

If I'm not carrying a bag, then money, keys and sunglasses.

I carry my wallet. That includes money, cards, ID, and the key to my computer. Its on a chain, which is cool, since I lost my last one at a movie. That wasnt cool.

Also, I carry a pen and paper. This is in case I need to remind myself of something, then I write it down. I find this is the only way to remember anything, since I have the worst memory ever.

I carry my watch. If I dont have a watch, I really go CRAZY. I just have to know what time it is, for some stupid reason.

Phone, Money, Keys, Wallet, Gum (in that order of importance ).

If I'm going to be somewhere that I know I'll be bored, I may bring my MP3 player and/or cd player, and a book.

Cell phone, wallet and keys. I check that every single time when I exit the house door; even when I go to the cellar.

Wallet, Keys (which have a flashlightish thing and some cool portable scissors), and cell phone. Oh right, and If I break down in a desert... which... I never have, but just in case.... I have this map thing in my car that I got from the NGA that's unrippable, fire proof, and water proof so I can use it to collect water and as a bandage incase I get attacked by snakes oh yeah.... I'm prepared... except for the fact that the map isn't of anything important. but anyway!

Right, here's my list...

1.) Pen and Paper (For jotting down web addresses I see, job vacancy references or anything else I won't be able to memorize)

2.) Passport (My main form of ID, I just think it is useful to have on me)

3.) Debit Card, Chequebook and Cash

4.) Postage Stamps (You never know when you need them)

5.) Comb

6.) Mobile Phone

7.) EVERY key I own, front door, back door, windows, etc.)

8.) Pet python

(OK, OK, I made the last one up)

I'm the most forgetful person in the world, and normally walk out of the house with nothing, then I have to return!

At the moment, I normally go out with:
- Samantha
- Buggy/Pushchair/whatever you want to call it
- Changing bag (an American one I picked up at a car boot sale for a fiver... it's fantastic, and Johny only spotted it because it was purple!)

In my changing bag I normally have:
- Nappies (I think the Yanks call them diapers... still trying to work that one out!)
- Wet wipes
- Nappy bags (little plastic bags with tie handles that smell nice to stick dirty nappies in).
- Changing mat (got it with changing bag)
- Samantha's Yellow Book (Parent held medical record)
- A change (or 5) of clothes for Sammie.
- A dummy/dodie/soother/pacifier or whatever you call them (for when Sammie's tired and all she wants to do is suck... she doesn't have it that often, but I keep one with me just in case).
- A bib.

That's everything I need to get Sammie down the road to my mother-in-laws

If I'm going further, I take money, a purse, a little bag (to keep my purse in), my phone, my headphones for my phone, and a book if it's going to take more than five minutes. If I remember them I also take my keys.

Since I'm a walking milk machine (I have the nickname meals on legs) I don't have to bother with bottles, that's only if she's going to be looked after by someone else.

Just my keys and watch, usually. If I need money, I'll take it, but I don't actually leave the house that much apart from school, so I don't need it that much. I don't really like carrying my mobile around, and it has no credit on it at the moment anyway. I only take that if I'm going out with friends or something for a few hours.

My keys. Nothing more, really. I bring money when I need it, and my mobile phone when I feel like it. But I always carry my keys. They're on a chain. I like that

If I have my purse, I have my money, keys, cell phone, sunglasses, the drug store (I have some of every kind of drug), hard candy, gum (juicyfruit), mints (Icebreakers liquid ice), a book (Les Miserables), makeup, and other little trinkets

If I don't have my purse, lose the book I've got everything else up there

I usually don't carry around money unless I intend to buy something. I do forget my brain sometimes.
