I've been thinking about getting a tattoo (don't know if I dare thou, but at least I've been thinking...). Any suggestions of motivs? I thought maybe a lable on the butt that says something witty, but I can't come up with anything good (I know I know can't understand it eighter). I don't want any big pics of naked chiks and wolves and big ships and anchors, don't know... It's just not me. Anyone here got a tattoo btw?
And I also came to think about how is it possible a tattoo never wears of? You get new skin and cells all the time...

I wouldn't get one. What if you decide you don't want it after a while, Oh to bad, it's permenantly etched in your skin. Save your money.

Well my personal opinion is that you should not get one. But, if you really want one, maybe a small one on your back, or maybe your ankle. Just don't get one that stands out a whole bunch....it annoys me when people do that. I like the smaller more subtle ones better.

If 'twere me, I'd get a cross or barbed wire... bw goes around the upper arm and a cross on the back. but just keep in mind that when you're really old, do you really want some wrinkly ole' picture permantently on your body? eh. I don't think it's that big of a deal, I say go for it

I really want a tattoo...a "41" on my upper right arm. From Sum 41. It would be cool.

I'd have Sammie's name done, if I could get the guts up. I haven't even had my ears pierced!

^Same here. I hate piercing my skin. My friend is planning on getting herself wings tatooed down her back.

I want to get a tatoo someday. I'm not sure of what... it'll be small and subtle deffinettly. I think small, subtle, unique, and something you'll still like when you're 50 is a good idea. And something that can be covered should the need arise.
I'm thinking perhaps a barcode on the back of the neck? Perhaps something on my lower back?
Hey, I have an idea... SOMETHING IN ELVISH!!!!
