I agree with you: okay, but a far stretch from being as good as the book. The beginning seemed very rushed and some little things I remembered from the book and was looking for in the movie had either been missed out or changed. I did like the thing with Hermione throwing the stones, though. Was that made up, too? I don't remember it being in the book...

Yeah, there was a lot they made up for the whole time travel thing... and there was a lot they left out... like what about Quittach cup? come on! Well... I definatly thought the movie was the best out of the three, though. by far. but book 3 is also my favorite, so I guess I was disappointed that it followed the book pretty poorly. But I thought the movie itself was awesome.

The movie is amazing in terms of graphics etc and I loved watching it but again a huge let down TPOA is one of my favourite books because when I was first getting into HP I stayed in during break etc during school to read so my Headmistress went out and bought me it out of here own money she said I reminded her of her when she was young so it is a personal favourite

Yeah it was cool. Ron was hilarious of course, like when he saw Harry and Hermione leave using that Time Turner or whatever and they came right through the door. My favorite line was when Ron was reading the tea leaves or something and he said "You're going to suffer... but you'll be happy for it?"

Is it just me or did Harry, Ron and Hermione grow a few inches?
Anyway, I liked the movie in general. I enjoyed it. But it felt like the movie did really stick to the book. Some things where forgotten completely.

first off, movie was way to rushed. They didn't develop storylines enough.
Second, Yes the actors who play harry, Ron and Hermione are supposed to be playing 13 year olds. They are actully 15.
Third, Some parts of the book were left out completely, or were moved around to fit the time frame.
I hope to go They don't butcher "The Goblet of Fire". It's a long book, and if they rush something like TPoA, What are they going to do with tht movie?
