Do the borg have a weakness? when it's been hit by a a phaser it adapts immidiatly. so i wonder what could kill them, except for species 8472

I think Quantum and Transphasic torpedoes would do the job.

well using a weapon like a knife would work and some kind of thing that disolves skin (seen in first contact) that could work.

I don't remember exactly, but there was someone who went to the holodeck, turned the safety off, grabbed a Tommy-gun and when the borgs came in, they were peppered full of holes...
It came (as I remember it) in a serie LOOONG ago, I think it was in Deep Space Nine... But I'm not sure as I said...

yah, it was picard in first contact, they were in a 50's bar or party or something and he was pretty pissed at them so he picked up a tommy gun and shot an assimilated ensign...
hehe kamikaze, im pretty sure that they could commit suicide... or if you got microsoft to make them a regeneration system they'd suffer from insomnia (they'd be afraid 2 go 2 sleep!)

It's just a matter of rotating a weapons frequency for an infinite amount of time so the borg cannot adapt to each new shot. It was once done on TNG with their phasers.

That's exactly what the I-Mod is, or Infinity Modulator. It was used in the first Elite Force game.

i think the borg have assimilated a handful of dentists in their time.
my thoughts is a mutagenic virus that evolves, like the common cold. then it would just require you to tap into the hive mind and insert the virus every time the borg adapt the virus will adapt

Non-energy weapons(i.e knives, guns(regular), fist, or really strong energy weapons.)
They probably would have some defense(but not much) against non-energy weapons, otherwise torpedos could go right through their shields, which obviously doesn't happen.
Or it could be that the Borg cubes have defenses of those sorts but the drones do not.
Also, the borg are uncreative, as seen in the episode where the borg recruited Captain Janeway and her crew to fight species 8472.
The Borg are very adaptive, not the most creative species in the galaxy however, probably due to the fact that there is only one mind, one voice, not individuality and no difference of opinion.

In Stargate Sg1, this dude had sheilds that bullets couldn't go through because they travelled so fast that the sheild viewed them as threats. But they shot him with an arrow which is slower and the sheild let it through... So maybe Chakotay could teach them all archery!
Hey, if one borg got HIV, would they all get it?
Malarial mosquitoes could kill the borg because the malaria baterium adapts faster than any other known species. It's constantly evolving in a way...
Don't mess with me, my mum's a micro-biologist (and no, that doesn't mean she's a tiny person in a lab coat, or a microwave. She looks at germs)

but whatabout all of those tiny nanobots in the drones body. As soon as a disease is detected they correct it. so even if a couple of these nanobots are tied up correcting the ever changing malarial disease it wont really effect the drone.

Malaria can make you sick pretty quicky, and for all we know, in the delta quadrant there could be giant space mosquitoes... But then the borg would have nano probes to administer malaria tablets that stop the bugs from biting you in the first place...
Okay, you win
What about a grenade launcher? You can't adapt against getting blown into a gazillion pieces!

im not sure but i thought that the borg had little personal force fields built into their armor. If thats true then they could pretty much adapt to anything.
