In the Matrix, since there is no spoon, and that kid could bend the spoons, why couldn't they just bend an Agent, since there is no Agent?

They wouldn't be able to do it to Agent Smith, as he was real. Also can't the agents get out of the Matrix through the phone lines, so they would be counted as "real". This would mean that they aren't like the spoon, which can't get out. Not sure though....
