What do you think is the difference between disruptors and phasers? I personally think that disruptors are a bit more primitive (if you watched the beginning of the Enterprise series, they had something similar to disruptors) and have less settings. On the other hand, phasers have up to 16 settings (as said by Kira Nerys when she was explaining the functionality of a phaser rifle to Tora Zyial, Dukat's daughter) and can vaporize. What do you think?

theyre called disrupters because they disrupt the flow of poop when the homolicious romulans stick them up their bung holes ......lol i dont mean to offend anyone, sorry if i did

Actually disrtupers are more powerfull than phasers but they cant be used for as manythings like phasers can though .

oh and enterprise (origional series) had phasers but the film industry just didn't have the technology to create special effects like they can do now e.g phasers

i know what u mean there called plasma cannons i think there low yeild and definately a LOT worse than phasers, so yes ur right phasers are better

p.s. soory but i though it was about DS9 seeing as it's in the DS9 area
