Post here what you would think the world would be like in the year 3004. Personally, I hope that we would have travelled to, at least, Venus. Maybe, as you can see how the pattern of technological advancement developed over the years, we will start developing faster and faster each decade ... maybe, just maybe, would could have built out first Starship by then.

Just maybe? Dude, this is 1000 years. Look back 1000 years, and compare then to now

Big difference, eh?

In 3004, we would have invented things that we in the current time could not even dream of, I think. Starships, most probably. Transporters, possible, maybe even likely. Settling on other planets, also possible.

I'm not sure Humans can make it to the year 3000 without destroying themselves.

But, if they do...transporters and starships and such, maybe.

Unless war stunts all scientific development and we all get seperated into little waring states.

I'm terribly optimistic.

sorry to put a damper on your enthusiasm. But unless we start looking after our world we will not have a future.

I predict that the Earth will be a barren wasteland, destroyed most likely by another world war. Or just the human wastefulness of the planets resources. And that all life, will be gone. That humans will have tried to find another planet they could live one, but have died out in space.

Well, if we have not all killed ourselves by then...

We would probally have FTL space travel. Much like Star Trek

I truely believe that Humans will never destroy themselves. The Human race will never become extinct (execpt when the universe might shrink again and burst into another Big Bang).

It's possible that 90% of the population will have died by some kind of war but there will always be a group of people doing everything in their power to maintain the human life.

I agree with Oliver there. I think mankind is too proud to destroy itself. There will always be people who will stop at nothing to maintain human life.

I don't think there'll be a 3004 for mankind.

Most likely earth would have been doslated by wars and stuff and we'd be living in the stone age.

Or on a lighter future, perhaps we would have travelled outside the solar system and found life.

Why are most of you so pesimistic? I'm sure we'll have losts of wars to come until 3004 but there will be lots of good things as well.

I believe humans will survive, at any cost. Mankind wil prevail.

Yeah, I know. It's all one big game of cat and mouse and we're just the fleas on the cat's back.

Personally, I don't think there will be a world as we know it in 3004. Probably not even a 3004. I think Christ will come back before then and we'll all be in Heaven, or else... gone. But if everything goes on as is till 3004 I think it'll be... pretty much like it's always been. Periods of peace periods of war, different nations and governments... we'll just be speaking different languages and wearing different clothes and have different technology. There'll be more literature, and we'll find a way to either make holograms or virtual reality that plugs into your brain. We'll all have mini computers/phones/cameras/everything-in-one thingys that we'll take everywhere with us, maybe we'll commute to different countries or the moon or something for work...

Because there might be infinite different reality’s so everyone should be right but
1
If Mankind can evolve past their foolishness we can evolve and become a more advanced civilisation and be a peaceful population and a collective voice that the tiniest thought is debated my all that because 1 person is unhappy the world re-thinks everything so everyone is happy and hopefully certain people who are the same as the members of this site come to power realise the stupidity that has become of a lot of nations and correct the problem’s terrorism is now none-existent

2
The world is a wasteland and nearly impossible to live in thousands die every day because of poverty there is no order and its every person for themselves and the whole-world turns into a third world country
