Hey guys!
I was wondering - What's the difference between power couplings and power relays and what's the specific use of each of the above mentioned...? It's would be most helpful if you guys could help me with this... thanks...

Most of Voyagers technobabble makes no sense. This is something that adds to the rule. We don't even know their usage.

Most likely:
Power couplings connect plasma conduits, and power relays control plasma flow through different conduits.
