True. ATM, though... I just have to get a non-crappy car, and save some money, and GO! But I'll be back,
I'm weird, I love Maine, sue me.

I guess its just that all of the people from Maine are "active" users, and that makes them more noticable.

lol Well I divide my time between Maine and Mass (although I have to say it's not an even divide, but that's only b/c I go to school in RI) I'm spread all through New England but I do love Maine so much. I was half raised there: my mum is a "Mainah"

I made sure growing up that I used my "r"s, so I don't have a distinct Maine accent. It's kind of irritating now because people at work, customers, don't usually believe I was born and raised here. They think I'm from "away", I can do it if I want to, though, but it has to be a conscious thought. 'Cah', lol. I do have a New England accent, though. And now I even sound American according to Thomas,

In the comic Non Sequitor, they all went to New England. It was great reading the one aunt's dialect

A customer asked me where I was from yesterday. I told her the town. She said, "yeah, but what state?" I was like, Maine... She told me no way, because I didn't have a Maine accent! I was so offended! She said I sounded like a southerner because of the way I said 18. As she was leaving, she said, "Y'all have a good night now, ya hear?" I stuck my tongue out at her, Mature, I know,

People say that Pittsburghers have different accents, too. We pronounce words fully, unlike a lot of people. Like instead of saying "wada", we actualy pronounce all of the consonence like "water". I don't know thats what the people from west virginia and ohio say.

Stephen King is a genius. His stories are so good. I find it hard to not like something of his.
