I tried to watch the first episode but it was too slow-paced for me and I quickly lost interest. After that, I never bothered to watch it again. I caught the end of one episode shortly after which involved...a giant squirrel...lol.
I think you need to watch every episode to understand it, sort of like a sci-fi version of "24"...

you know delta, theres a surprising number of abnormally large killer squirrels slowly making their way into the states. but the government is trying to keep it hush hush. we dont need any widespread panic.

Its about kids with a powerful mind ability unlike no other and a bunch of miltary and non miltary orginization chasing them trying to capture them in order to lure the Aliens or fly an Alien ship. Theres like a timeline starting from the roswell crash all the way too the year 2002. The girl played by Dakota Fanning can control time, slow time, alter time, create illusionary effects, and so fort in the last years of the Aliens thing by 2002.
