TOS is like the heritage of all the Trek you have seen.

^Same here. When I was a kid, it was on every Friday night. Then, 2 years ago, they ran it again at 4 in the afternoon on ABC. (I actually started a petition and sent it in for that, suprised me when it worked, )

It was only around 1500. But they say for every one who says something, there are ten who don't.

Nope. Nothing of that sort every happens here. I was just very determined. I got my parents and J involved, also some friends. Alot of adults. So they asked at their workplaces, etc... Several of the people I go to church w/ are Trekkies, too,

1500, that's quite a few Trekkies. Who did you give the petition to?

If it were me that managed to collect 1500 sigs, I would have given it to them in person just so I could see the expression on their faces when the petition unfolded down to the floor. They would probably *beep* a brick,

LOL, probably,
In RL, I used to be an extreme introvert. So the fact that I even was willing to do the petition was phenomenal for me.

Well, I think I only got about 300 on my own. And combining both sides of my family, there's about 80 right there.

80 sigs? That's a pretty big family. Were they all Trekkies?

Nope. Most thought I was being a geek, but were nice to me,
Mom's one of 13, and Dad one of 8. I have 34 cousins younger than me.
But, not to go too much farther OT, TOS, while it has the worst graphics, and some of the lamest storylines, is one of the BEST Trek series. WAY better than TNG.

@Fleet Admiral Labatt: If you still haven't seen a single episode, I strongly suggest you do. Those were really, really good believe it or not. For your very first one, I suggest you see "The Doomsday Machine". Soooo exciting!!

I've seen three...maybe four. I just got two on DVD-'Concience of the King' and 'Miri.' They were great! With Enterprise doing re-runs for the summer, if you can get a chance to see a few TOS's you should!
