Starring Cuba Gooding Jr and Ed Harris.
It is an unbelievable movie! It's a definite must see.

Quote:
This is the decades-long story of the relationship between a prominent high school football coach (Harris) in a small South Carolina town and the illiterate, mentally-challenged man nicknamed Radio (Gooding) whom he mentors, who before that had always been the target of jokes and teasing by the community. Although their friendship raises some eyebrows at first, Radio's growth under the coach's guidance ultimately inspires the local townsfolk, from 1964 when he first starts helping the Hanna Yellow Jackets football team, through a 38+ career with the school that continues today.

It's based on a true story. Radio is still at the school in South Carolina.

I think I hate Cuba. Every character he plays, he over-acts. Reminds me of Kirk, but 1000% more annoying.

I think it's just misinformed choices. He's a good enough actor (What Dreams May Come, Men of Honour) but then he goes and sullies his reputation by starring in stuff like The Rat Race and Boat trip.

I saw a feature on this a short time ago and unfortunately, to me, it seems like another bad choice.

Cuba was ehhh, but Ed Harris was great. The story was fantastic, to sound redundant.

I like Ed Harris. I don't think I remember a bad movie with him in it.
