Star Trek: New Frontier fanfic

I just got back into reading the sereis again (I'm still reading through book 11, which I can't put down) and it gave me a wild idea for a fanfic. I was inspired by not only this sereis, but my longstanding fascination with the Star Wars universe and the fact that my cousins were playing Kingdom Hearts. It inspired a crossover fanfic that sounds a bit crazy, but I'll shoot for it.

The basic storyline is thus: While Soleta attempts to retrieve a lost probe via a shuttlecraft whilst scanning a spatial anomoly she is catapulted into a version of the Star Wars universe beseiged by the Heartless.

The Heartless were called into this particular world by Emperor Palpatine (this is an AU Star Wars after the destruction of the first Death Star), frustrated by Vader's search for the Rebels. He seeks to use the Heartless to eradicate the Rebellion, however, the Heartless soon grow to powerful for Palpatine to control and they begin attacking the Empire's outlying worlds. Emperor Palpatine faces a war on two fronts.

Enter Soleta and a yet unnamed Imperial officer, a lone survivor of a Heartless attack. After they search the Imperial garrison for clues, they realize the nature of their foe and the threat the Heartless pose upon worlds. This leads to their quest throughout the various worlds, not just of the Star Wars universe but many others unimagined, in an attempt to defeat the Heartless...
