I never knew you could "guest" here lol.
I thought he meant the title music lol. I don't see that Enterprise has a theme really. I mean with Voyager you could have said that it was based on getting home but other than exploration, Enterprise's theme seems a little more wishy-washy - do this one week and then do another, another week if you get what I mean...

The current theme is to find the Xindi and stop them from destroying Earth.

It was moved here from the S, F, & H forum.

And I get what you mean. Voyager was especially like that in the later seasons...

Yeah but there is no particular theme that defines the series as a whole.
Like for example, someone could ask "What is Voyager all about?"
And you would reply "It's about a ship and her crew lost in space, searching for a way home".
In Enterprise however, if someone asked that same question, what would you say..."A ship exploring" (Very similar to TOS and TNG) but then you could say about the temporal cold war...but then, not many of the episodes are based entirely around that theme...and now, yeah we have the Xindi. But how long will this go on for? If they continue throughout the series then yeah, perhaps they could define the series. In my opinion however, the Xindi arc will be cleared up by the middle of Season 4 (if a Season 4 is commissioned that is)...

In my opinion they need something that'll make Enterprise stand out from other science fiction. I mean Voyager wasn't original ("Lost in Space" anyone?) but the concept in the Star Trek universe was.

Its current theme is "Faith of the Heart", sped up a bit.

Which really doesn't make any sense, considering that the ship's current mission is "Find Xindi And Kick Their Ass".

Lol, can you imagine them using those lyrics in the opening song! It would probably be better than "Faith of the Heart" in any case lol.

I'm not sure about you all, but I enjoy the new theme...it kind of shows you and tells you in a way that an actual mission to defend Earth is going on, and it tells you about the new character changes with it's new beat...meaning they are more aggressive then before.

Well a friend gave me a copy of "The Xindi" on VCD and I heard the theme there. It's relatively the same but without a few more beats at the beginning and a few minor changes in the guitar "tune" (lol, you can tell I'm not a musical expert).

I don't like it as much (I wasn't all that keen on the first one) - it sounds even more pop-ish than before...
