Because the writers for Deep Space Nine weren't Borgified like the writers from a certain Trek show that gets a lot of love around here.

And it wouldn't make any sense, as Lindley explained.

Even if Odo did have the capabilities to Morph into a Borg Cube, he wouldn't be able to Destroy the fleet as he wouldn't have the Weapons the Borg cubes do

he decreased his mass so he should be able to incerase his mass

Still....if Changelings could *become* ships, then changelings wouldn't need ships to do their fighting.

Odo, can't become a weapon. it's kind of like on terminator 2, with the liquid metal guy. he couldn't turn himself into a gun or a bomb or anything like that.
