I'm not sure if it can, but the design would lend itself to it.

nah, the soverign is a battle ship and doesent really carry civilians like the galaxy does, therefore there is no need for saucer seperation.

I believe that galaxy class can be outfitted with different modules, depending on its duty. That is not true of sovereign, so the saucer probably does not separate.

They are like the ones of Enterprise D (they sell them at book stores.) I got it as a present.

With the overall way the ship is designed, and because the ship would be very costly to construct, I believe the Enterprise E has saucer seperation capabilities.

ships seperating into seperate parts has always seemed too much of a appealing thing to me, rather being a tatical advantage. the prometheus is suposed to be better when seperated, but it would then need more power to power each induvidual part, and the galaxy i'm not sure why the creaters really wanted to make it do that. but those 2 class of ships are the only 2 with seperation abilitys that i know of. the soveregin i am sure would not seperate, and it wouldent make much sence if it did.

Hey sorry if I might have suggested a idea that was already presented, I
always thought this was a information exchange area.
