StarTrekVoyager.Com RPG Rules

     Read StarTrekVoyager.Com Forum Rules
    RPGing does not exempt you from these rules.

     One RPG per person
    If you are an outstanding RPG GM and many users request you to run additional RPGs, then you may be approved for more. To start a RPG, make a topic with the tag [provisional-RPG] in Role Playing Discussions. Then make a request for it to be approved in the RPG Report/Request Thread. If approved, it will be moved to Role Playing Games. Do not start topics in Role Playing Games without approval. If you have a RPG and would like to lock and start a new one, then request a [RPG-LOCK] by changing your topic name appropriately, then posting a request in RPG Report/Request Thread.

     RPGs must have a description and a members list
    Have at least a short description of your RPG that makes it unique from others. It is suggested that you color coordinate your Member List.

    GREEN = Posts regularly / New Member.
    YELLOW = Posts semi-regularly.
    RED = Inactive, and maybe removed.
    BLUE = Excused from posting

     Inactive RPG GMs will have their RPG locked (unless arrangements are made with mods)
    If you leave and come back after two weeks, do not expect your RPG to be there. There is no purpose in starting idle RPGs.

     Do not interrupt RPGs with join request
    If the GM is requesting positions to be filled, then respond. If the RPG has already started, PM the RPG GM (topic starter) and request him to let you join.

    Hotlinking
    STV will no longer tolerate hotlinking pictures from other websites. What is hotlinking? This is when you find a picture from another website, copy and paste the URL from the profile and then repost the picture on STV using this URL. It is stealing webspace off the original site's host. To fix this problem simply save the picture to your computer and rehost it using a host such as:

    www.photobucket.com
    www.angelfire.com
    www.geocities.com
    www.imageshack.com

    Those four hosts are free and fairly easy to use. Personally, my favourite is photobucket. It hosts a lot of images, is the easiest to use, and is free.

Rule Consequences
... Three strikes and you are out.

Reporting Problems/Users
If you have spammers or users breaking rules, then please use the RPG Report/Request Thread or PM the RPG.mods. Include a link to the topic with the problem. If there is no link, then most likely the report will be ignored.
