From a discussion in Fan Fiction I know that a few people have read this book. It's the diary of a 14/15 year old girl who is introduced to drugs without her knowledge. She likes it and gets addicted. She runs away from home, and eventually decides she wants to go clean. However, someone spikes some peanuts and she ends up in a hospital. Eventually, she dies from her addiction. It is a real life account of what happened to one girl when she started taking drugs.

The 60's... the language is a bit dated, but it still packs a punch.

Yeah, I thought the language was a bit different, but as long as one understand how deep the book is, it didn't matter.
I thought it was a bit creepy when one got to read what she'd written while she was under hte influence of drugs. e
