Which series do you think puts out the best books? I know alot of writers write for all series, but some series, IMO, are better in book than they were on TV.

At the moment? DS9. The DS9 relaunch is the only series that has had *consistently* excellent books. Well, the first two MGs were kinda slow, but still good.
You left out SCE (Starfleet Corps of Engineers), BTW. There are only two paperback compilations out, but there's something like 20 or so ebooks by now.
You also left out Star Trek: Challenger, but that's OK, because there are only two books in the series so far, and only one of them is called "Star Trek: Challenger" (the other is New Earth #6: Challenger).
Then, of course, there's the upcoming Star Trek: IKS Gorkon series, but that's not out yet. There are, however, two books which fall into its continuity even if they don't bear the title explicitly: TNG: "Diplomatic Implausibility" and ST: "The Brave and the Bold book 2".
EDIT: OH! I nearly forgot Star Trek: Stargazer. There are three books in that series so far; the first one is "The Valient", and then the ST: SGZ label begins with "Gauntlet" and then "Chainmail". I was sufficiently unimpressed with "Gauntlet" that I haven't read "Chainmail" yet.

It was like a three way tie for me... but I had to go for TNG. Rogue was really good, as was erm.... The TNG Gateways one, I forget the name.
But a lot of the DS9 books I've read are really good and VOY ones too, but I figured TNG wouldn't get many votes.

I thought Avatar was pretty good although I like the Enterprise books at the moment. Although there's not many out, I liked What Price Honor and Surak's Soul was quite good despite being too short.

I was able to figure out the ending of What Price Honor on page 50....it wasn't bad, but it was just really simple. No complexity to it.

I liked what price honor a lot...I thought it was sad. And Surak's Soul was good, too. I like the ENT books even better than the episodes. I'm not a fan of the DS9's though.

Lol, it had me confused. I had to read it twice to fully understand it. All that swapping between now and then; the first time round I couldn't work out when I was lol. Did that just make sense? Probably not...
I don't like the way that there is no continuity though between the novels. That's what I like about the DS9 relaunch series: they carry on from one another. In "What Price Honor" Reed loves that woman but in "Surak's Soul" early on in the book it says that he dissaproves of fraternising (sorry, I know I've spelt it wrong) . Although it does say that in "What Price Honor" (before he fancies Hart properly) I would have expected him to have changed his attitude about it by "Surak's Soul" as a consequence of what happened in "What Price Honor"...Hmmm, even a mention of the situation in Surak's Soul would have been good.
.It's kinda hard to explain what I mean....basically I just wish there was some kind of continuity between the novels like that in the DS9 relaunch and the Star Wars Expanded Universe.

I like Stargazer the best. It's kind of cool to learn about Picard's past, and his first command.

I've only read one of the Stargazer books and didn't like it all that much. All the characters with the exception of Picard seemed a little 2-dimensional IMO.
