Have I Got News is great - I'm sure you must have something like that in America? Oh *sorry* - you're patriots....we're not, apparently, so we can afford to make fun of our leaders and celebs. Wonder if Tony Blair watches it?
Ok, so maybe the kid wanted to be picked up - but surely just coz he finally got off the ground would be no reason to kiss the PM? (Personally it wouldn't be my reason.....)

We want to be rude, do we?
It's not the Americans fault you have no pride in who you are.
And, btw, we DO have shows that make fun of our government. Whether you like it or not, the U.S. IS a free nation.

Yeah, sorry. I knew I'd get some backs up by saying that. No offence meant, honest.

Isn't that so sad? I am THANKFUL we have no royal family. Yeah, let me pay a figurehead 3 million a year for doing nothing.
Medical expenses? Who cares? If we want to debate the pros and cons of Americans and Brits, I'm sure I could come up w/ quite a list. But I won't, because I have several British friends, and they don't have a superiority complex.
Not in the commonwealth...... makes me unhappy..... would you care to tell me how?
Apparently my countries "Decleration of Independence" really bothers you. Was it that your superior forces were WHIPPED by farmers and bankers? If so, GET OVER IT.
As for a stick up my ass...... Oh please...
People like me? You mean ones that think for themselves? As a general rule, I like England. But people like you, who live in the past....... *sigh, it's so sad, really.
AND NEVER ONCE DID I SAY I HAD NO RESPECT FOR OTHER COUNTRIES. I said that it's not my fault if YOU don't have pride in YOUR country. And buddy, IT ISN'T.

I fully agree. Although I’m not an anarchist, so I respect the decision of my government to have a monarch system.

I don’t have superiority complex…I think the USA should rule the world. BTW – maybe you should list those reasons, put Greg87 in his place.

Yes in fact we were ‘whipped’ by the Americans weren’t we? That’s quite funny actually…although we do now have the largest Navy in the world other than the USA.

There is nothing we can do about…just let him have his fun…he might grow up one day!

But they don't. USA may have ships, and planes, and munitions etc. But Australia has the best skilled SAS ground forces. (sorry, just felt like saying it, but it's a fact )

Yeah Well, my Marxist friend I'd Kill Myself if you came to power
I like America's system of Government
The UK has a Pretty good system of Government too, we just be thankful that we aren't being ruled by Extremists like The Baathist Party who formerly controlled Iraq or Cuba's Government

What on Earth are you talking about? You were the one that started insulting and Maquis has not insulted you. If you can't have a civil discussion maybe you should stay out of this forum.

America's system of Government is what started their Civil war..... the States had more power than the Capital...... while Canada gives most of its power to the Capital and less to the Provinces (equivilant of States)
we've never had a Civil war...... so Canada's is better

Though I do recognise the fact that I started this argument I would be grateful if people did not start topics about arguing with my name on that I did not create. Thanks, Maquis (I'm gathering you moved it) for giving me one hell of a fright. I will also now learn never to use sarcasm again in these boards because people with no sense of humour (hey look, I spell funny) just don't get it, and I will forget about apologising cause noone cares to read the post.
Thanks, I now know everything I need to know about these boards.
Oh, the irony of this message.....
