How 'bout Voyager is suddenly hurled into fluidic space by Q, and they have to fight their way back to the spot where they came in, and if they failed, Q would send them back right before they die and return Voyager to how it was when it entered fluidic space. That wasn't the best idea I've had 'cause it's late at night. Maybe I'll get some sleep.

alright i finished chapter 1

Chapter 1

After a nice cup of coffee Captain Janeway sat down in her chair and rested her eyes. It wasn't long before her nap was disturbed by the voice of Tom Paris.
"Captain I'm reading a Borg cube about 2,000,000 kilometers away and it's heading right toward us."
Just what i need thought Janeway, more borg.
"Now they're 1,950,000 kilometers away"
In a few minutes Harry Kim spoke up "They've dropped out of warp and we have a visual."
"On screen." said Janeway.
The borg cube was only about 40,000 kilometers away when suddenly something else caught their attention.
"Captain i'm reading... a quantum singularity! A single bio ship just came out!" said Harry in surprise.
"Man i thought we'd seen the last of species 8472 months ago" moaned Tom.
"They're attacking the cube." said Harry.
"Captain we should withdraw while they're busy." said Tuvok.
"I agree with Tuvok. We should get away from here." said Chakotay.
The borg cube exploded.
"What the? I thought the borg would win?" Harry said watching the explosion.
"Do we have any of the nanoprobe weapons left?" asked Janeway.
"We only have one that we didn't use." said Tuvok.
"Arm it and raise shields."
Suddenly the bio ship hailed them.
"We're... being hailed?" Harry said, more like a question than a statement.
"I thought they didn't have any communication systems!" Tom exclaimed.
"On screen." said Janeway, confused as much as the others.
They saw a species 8472 alien on the screen who had a machine on his head.
"Captain Kathryn Janeway." a voice said.
"What's going on?" asked Chakotay.
"They must've created a machine that converts their thoughts into audible words." said Tuvok.
"Who are you?" asked Janeway.
"I have no designation." said the alien. "I have come to help you."

It's okay, but you need to consider using less small talk and adopting a formal attitude for most of the crewmembers. This is star trek remember! Also, verbal contractions are ugly…
