Days are done,
Sorrows are one.
Cruel uncertainty has it�s fun.

Anguish inside,
Nowhere to hide.
Looking for gentle thoughts in which to confide.

Chances not taken,
Faith lone and shaken.
Trembling like a soul forsaken.

I look back, I see the pages,
Of the book of my memories and the wars my heart wages.
I feel trapped behind so many cages.

Love has come, love has remained,
Love is not met, so I am stricken with pain.
I am left feeling like I�ll go insane.

For what seems like forever, our eyes will not meet,
Until we are past the unbearable heat.
Without her my heart constantly skips a beat.

And while I shall see her again on a bright, joyous day,
That day seems so distant and far away.
And I feel so shaken anyway.
