I dont know what you mean by that but i was reading a book and it says things actually are transporting all the time.
The larger the object though the rarer it is.
Even for a single molocule it doesnt happen much.
It might be possible to transport but it wouldnt be how they do it in star trek
(take apart your atoms, turn them into energy and reconstitute you somewhere else)

They have transported a beam of light before I know this, i'm sure soon, objects and other things will begin to be transported as our knowledge of the technology grows.

I remember someone on a different thread said that Germany had already
transported things. Like pens and other non-organic matter. This person said it's was not general public info, but they knew someone inside the gov. that told them.

They said they were only having problems with transporting organic material.

So I think, transporters are closer then we think.

if the human race ever gets to that level i think that we would have sometype of them. maybe not the same as star trek but it would be close. same with replicators.

Like Qgirl said. We already have transporters, but they casn only transport small inorganic things from 1 room to the room next to it at this point. And sometimes they come back scrambled.......

Yeah, I heard that some research has gone on on transportation, and they think it could be possible to do it for humans. Its something like they get scanned and then destroyed, then an exact copy is made somewhere else.

It would be really cool, but could be dangerous, not only for the person being transported, but if they could be transported anywhere then assasins could take out the world leaders if they got a hold of the technology,
