Yup, I've already got seasons 1 and 2, as well as the two telemovies "The Gathering" (series pilot) and "In the Beginning" on DVD.
Its cheapest at www.northamericandvd.com in my experience.
Season 3 is due out in August.

I want them although I had to cancel my order due to lack of money lol. I'll probably keep saving up for em though.
I have Season 1, The Gathering and In the Beginning on DVD. None of the other movies are available on DVD in the UK. Not yet anyways.
I agree, Sleeping in Light is one of the saddest pieces of science-fiction I have ever seen. I thought the saddest part was when the reactors go critical and it all explodes. Wasn't too bothered when Sheridan bit the dust though lol. Never much liked him anyway; Ivanova's my favourite character; I love her sense of humour.
Another great episode is "Z'Ha'Dum"....I love the soundtrack to that at the end. Where the Whitestar smashes through the glass ceiling and Anna screams...
In fact, I love all the soundtrack of B5; I don't think it would have been the same without Chris Franke doing the score. I hated the music to Crusade; it just sounded like someone banging pots and pans round to me lol. I loved the music to Legend of the Rangers though, from the moment the logo falls away you know its Babylon 5. I thought the logo itself looked a bit tacky though. Still it wasn't a bad TV movie; shame it never got made into a series.

^9AM Eastern (morning, set VCR), on Scifi. Monday-Friday.
However, be aware that the show is already most of the way through season 2, and unlike Voyager or TNG, you can't just start watching whenever.
Its not too late to jump in, but you *will* be missing part of the plotline. Just be aware of that.
Actually, there's only a couple more episodes until the end of the season. If you were to watch tomorrow for the first time, you'd probably be fairly confused.....
My advice is to do one of two things. A) Wait until it starts again. That won't be until several months from now. B) Jump in right away, and just make sure you never miss an episode. From here on in, almost every episode is important. And if you don't jump in now, it'll be even harder to do so.

It's not shown anymore in the UK on terrestrial
It used to be but Channel 4 screened it at ridiculous times like 1 or 2am and they'd change the schedule without telling anyone about it. for example, I would set my video to record from 1am until 2am but Channel 4 would move it forward half an hour so it started at 1:30am. So I ended up with only the first half of the episode.
I originally started watchin B5 half way into Season 4 and I had no idea what was going on, no idea who the characters were or anything and I didn't watch much of the series. However, the UK show "The Big Breakfast" started showing it in the morning at about 11:00 starting at the start of season 1. I watched it from then on and was hooked lol.

yes im from UK to, pretty hard to watch Babylon5 on TV. The networks in UK dont like Babylon5, infact they dont really like Sci-fi full stop. Apart from Sky1.
Yes i agree the music is excellent in Babylon5 especially the theme music to season 3.
I felt the death of sheriden was the saddest part of the last episode, he was cool. But i just finished watching Season 1 and discovered that SinClair is cool too.
Now ive seen season1, i just ordered season 2. Im so poor now =( lol.
