I love star wars. I think that it's easier to get into then the trek. You have to be intelligent to understand and like the trek. That's probably why star wars has a bigger following, but why trekkies are um...more loyal followers. Most SW fans aren't really into it...but the ones who are are hard core (such as myself). Whereas pretty much everyone who likes trek is a rather big fan.
