What would like to have gone different in the last Star Wars movie? Return of the Jedi?

I would have preferred if those nascent annoying Rebels had been crushed.

I personally wouldn't have killed Darth. I think that that was one of the biggest mistakes. Darth is awesome. And someone should have killed Luke. Luke is better on paper (EU) than in ROTJ. (Not Mark H. but just the character)

they don't always win...(for exapmle...who blew up Alderaan? who cut off Luke hand?) and they aren't always the Rebels(turn into New Republic). Plus Rebels and Jedi are not the exact same thing. And there's still the Imp. Remnant.

yeah, and I guess it wouldn't work because since they are books everyone already has their own preconcieved impressions about them...so not everyone would like them. (Which is true for all of them...blast)

And, it's not that I don't like the um...Rebels but this is about what we would change. I would just have more darkside conflicts and stuff. And the NR is better.

New Republic is same as the Rebels, and more rebel forces should have been destroyed, such as Lando.

they aren't the same in a sense though. The NR is the new government set into place after the battle of endor and the fall of Palpatine. The rebels are freedom fighters who brought that into being. Of course, the rebels become members of the NR it's not nesesarily only rebels in the NR...
