PostThu Feb 13, 2003 6:13 pm    Enterprise-Future Tense

This is next weeks one.

Synopsis:

Far beyond where any Earth vessel has ventured before, the Enterprise crew is shocked to find a small craft adrift in space that contains what appears to be a human corpse. Trip Tucker and Malcolm Reed discover the craft holds some strange secrets, and the mystery deepens when the Suliban arrive making claim to the salvage. On top of that, Captain Archer is confronted by the Tholians, who also aggressively try to procure the enigmatic vessel.

Not terribly original, but maybe we'll see some developments in this mysterious Temporal Cold War?

Liked it! Short and I wish they went more into the cold war and stuff but all in all, I give it an 8.

Whatever else you may say, it did have impressive visuals. One of the most fast-paced fleet battles since DS9.

Excellent, that is 3 in a row! I agree, Lindley, great battle sequences. The Tholians are bad-asses, they took out the Vulcans, Enterprise, and a Suliban fleet all in the span of 15 minutes! I hope to see them again. Anyone catch the Klingon Bird of Prey schematic when T'Pol and Archer were looking at Daniels' contraption? Nice touch.

I'd like to see more eps that are based on the ship when it's moving, space battles and tactics are always interesting, and Archer does well when commanding the ship during a crisis. Tholian ships looked the same as from TNG, I want to see what they look like in CG. Should be good.

Next week looks bad, I hope I'm wrong.

3 times is a charm! But 4th is the breaker.

Expect some bad episodes the next couple weeks.

Fear not, Enterprise shall prevail!

^No, no one can. The best explanation I've found for these problems common to the VGR/ENT era is that sometimes the writing is so choppy and misleading that you have to just go with it and hope the ep turns out to make some sense. Too often in the VGR/ENT era, however, this has no been the case.

Apparently the ship was a TARDIS.

Don't ask me, I never watched Dr. Who.
